Conventional Fire Retardant Chemicals Said to Be Toxic... DOES NOT APPLY to MSE's Next-Generation Hartindo AF21 Fire Inhibitor Which Contains No Toxic Chemicals
Wednesday May 21, 2008

BRENTWOOD, TN--(MARKET WIRE)--May 21, 2008 -- MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. (Other OTC:MEVT.PK - News) (Frankfurt:MEH.F - News) is happy to report that its Hartindo AF21 environmentally friendly Fire Inhibitor is not included in the family of conventional fire retardants that is now in the media spotlight for suspected harmful toxicity. In fact, the Company's Fire Inhibitor is a water-based, non toxic and environmentally safe compound.

CBS News Coverage Poses the Question: "Is Fire Retardant A Harmful Toxin?"

In Wyatt Andrews' exclusive CBS TV report, Linda Birnbaum, a senior toxicologist at the EPA, stated, "I am concerned about developing children, concerned about exposure before you are born." And Maine toxicologist Deborah Rice, a former EPA scientist, added, "This is concentrating in human beings, just like PCBs." Ms. Rice once studied PCBs, toxic chemicals banned in the 1970s. She now compares them to the chemical Deca, the one PBDE still produced in America -- and widely used in conventional fire retardants. The primary chemical in conventional fire retardants is Deca, a toxic substance now ubiquitous in the environment, and which has been found in polar bears, eagles and other wildlife around the globe.

"We are alarmed by the general nature of reports of serious threats to human health and the environment by the chemicals used in conventional fire retardant. While this may be true for some retardants, it certainly does not apply our Hartindo line. We constantly monitor the published information on this critically important topic to correct incorrect statements and to keep abreast of scientific advances in the area. MSE Enviro-Tech Corp. and Hartindo supplier Megola Inc. hasten to point out that the entire line of effective Hartindo next-generation Anti Fire products are non toxic, water-based and environmentally friendly." -- Michael S. Robinson, President & CEO, MSE Enviro-Tech Corp.
